This Privacy Policy describes how kendyandco.com (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Collecting Personal Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain Personal Information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, ShopPay details, PayPal Details, and Apple Pay details, all of which are encrypted and not stored directly by The Ruby Den), email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

 

 Using Personal Information

We use your personal information to provide our services to you, which include: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you;

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We also use the Device Information that we collect to provide consumers with targeted advertising around the Internet. This information is targeted towards our site users as well as provided in aggregate form to our advertising partners in order to provide ads to consumers with similar online preferences. 

 

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

You have the right to access personal information we have collected about you over the last 12 months, including:

You have the right to request the deletion of your information. Please note that this right is subject to certain exceptions. RIGHT TO NON-DISCRIMINATION

The Ruby Den will not discriminate against you for exercising your Data Privacy Rights. We will not deny you goods and services, nor will we charge different prices or provide lower-quality goods. However, by exercising your right to Opt-Out, you may not receive certain discounts and promotions offered to members of our Loyalty Programs or email subscribers.

 

 

Data Retention and Security

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain Order Information for our records.

The Ruby Den understands the importance of protecting Personal Information. We seek to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure using appropriate physical, technical, and operational security measures.

 

Do Not Track

Please note that because there is no consistent industry understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not alter our data collection and usage practices when we detect such a signal from your browser.

Changes
